In 2001 after returning home to Oklahoma after serving 8 years in the Army Brandon Collins and his shooting partner Michael Wilson started CD's Archery as a garage store in Stillwater, Oklahoma. After a few years of selling out of a garage, they took the store national with CD's Archery.com in 2005, based out of Michael's home and Shop in Perry, Oklahoma. They started offering archery products at a discounted price, along with discounted shipping rates and excellent customer service to the entire United States. In May 2006 our inventory began to grow to one of the largest archery selections on the Internet. In December 2006, after Michael decided to retire and move to California, Brandon created Collins Outdoors in Louisiana and, in March 2007, purchased CD's Archery outright, reopening the web-based store.

It has since become a “family venture” to include my wife Dixie, and our five children: Kirby, Wade, Steven, Myla, and Samantha. With a main goal of keeping Archery an affordable sport open to anyone wanting to participate, CD’s Archery is expanding it’s product line to include more equipment geared toward children and women as well as expanding on the items we already carry. As we move into the future we will continue to provide excellent customer service and add to our growing inventory; adding additional clothing, hunting equipment, a women’s department, youth corner and more outdoor gear.

Collins Outdoors will continue to give back to the Archery and Hunting Community, with sponsorships to ArcheryTalk.com , Mule Deer Foundation, Deerman’s T.H.E. 3D, and to those who serve our country with donations to the Military's MWR.

In the future, Collins Outdoors will be adding stores in locations around the country, with Customer Service and Satisfaction the highest priority to the family at Collins Outdoors.

Everyday I try to find a way to save you money, while at the same time provide you with the service that you deserve. As we move into the future, we are going to add more items to give you a better selection. Our "AT COST" program is to help archery clubs stay in business, while keeping tournament fees down, to give future archers a chance to enjoy this great sport. This is a program very close to my heart, since 3D is what brought me to the sport over 20 years ago. The MWR donation is another program that is very important to us. I served 8 years in the Army and during that time I was only able to shoot on my vacations home. Now that the MWR is setting up ranges for our soldiers all over the world, I fill compelled to help, especially since my wife is currently serving in the Army here at Fort Polk.

My family and I believe in Ethics when it comes to hunting. That is why we support the Deerman's T.H.E. (True Hunting Experiences) 3D organization. They teach hunting ethics to future hunters as well as make ethics apart of the competitions we enjoy. From their unique scoring, to their shot setup it is true hunting for the competitor.

This sport is something that I love, and I am so happy to do this for a living, and I thank you everyday for making it possible.
